BraamByBike SA offers Inner city and Soweto cycling tours and walking tours. We are dedicated to providing unique experiences that showcase the art, cuisine, and history of Johannesburg. Our Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for the use of BraamByBike's website.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and experiences. By accessing our website, booking a tour, or making a payment, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

BraamByBike (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a small eco-tourism and cultural preservation cycling business based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, and Soweto. Our tours aim to showcase local art, cuisine, and history while promoting sustainability and community empowerment.

2. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be made through our official channels (website, email, or phone).
Full or partial payment may be required to secure your booking.
Payment can be made via credit card, EFT, or any method indicated on our website.
Your booking is confirmed only after payment has been received.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our policy is:

Cancellations 7+ days before the tour: Full refund.
Cancellations within 3–6 days: 50% refund.
Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows: No refund.
Weather-related cancellations: If we cancel due to unsafe weather, you’ll receive a full refund or can reschedule at no extra cost.

4. Safety & Participant Responsibility

Your safety is our priority. To ensure a safe experience:

Helmets and bicycles are provided and must be used as instructed.
Participants must follow the guide’s instructions and comply with traffic rules.
BraamByBike is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage resulting from negligence or failure to follow safety instructions.
Participants are advised to arrive sober and fit for cycling activities.

5. Health & Fitness Requirements

Our cycling tours require a moderate level of fitness.
If you have any medical conditions, please inform us beforehand.
BraamByBike is not liable for health-related incidents during the tour unless caused by our proven negligence.

6. Liability Waiver

By booking a tour, you acknowledge and accept that:

Participation is at your own risk.
BraamByBike is not liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to belongings during the tour, except where required by law.
We strongly recommend having personal travel insurance where applicable.

7. Use of Personal Information

Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking a tour, you consent to this processing.

8. Changes to Tours & Services

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, substitute activities, or adjust timing due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
Where possible, we’ll notify you of any significant changes in advance.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, videos, and branding, is the property of BraamByBike and may not be used without prior written consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
